Well, I'm back. The keyboard and mouse feel kinda foreign to the touch, and the screen looks bigger, but it's nice to be back home and chatting with everyone again.

Anyways, I better skip to the point of this e-mail and my trip to Florida:

The first day in the car on the way to Florida was interesting. We rented a van so the trip wasn't as cramped as it would be in my dad's Explorer. I pretty much made a nest out of two blankets and three pillows (one the size of a baby's head) and watched dad drive, mom navigate, and my little brother poke the screen of our new portable DVD player while watching "Jumanji".

The next day we made it to New Orleans. We spent two days there only because the room was free if we went to some kind of time-share presentation. I got to stay in the hotel room (luckily). We had a hard time finding our way around but we finally made it to the French Market. I bought a new black T-shirt (which I am currently wearing ^.^) that has Jack Skellington on it and says: "Bone Daddy". Though; I kinda wanted to get this other shirt that said: "I used to be schizophrenic, but we're okay now" haha...

Finally, we made it to Florida. We stopped somewhere along the way at a beach on the Gulf of Mexico. (I have never personally seen white sand) We spent the night at a hotel that was having some sort of Slug Bug Convention, and we got to see a Beetle that looked like a catfish. Kinda cute really; and then the trailer that the junkyard version of Herby from "Herby Fully Loaded" was in. It was night, so it was in the trailer though.

We drove from Tallahassee to Homosassa Springs and spent the night at a REALLY nice hotel. The pool was awesome! The next day, we went on the little natural park tour. We were lucky we went so early in the morning though, 'cause it rained three hours later. We were stuck in a child's learning center for an hour before we decided to run to the manatee exhibit and then to the entrance. (Dad forgot his glasses and guess who had to go get them in the rain) Left after that and made it to Orlando. (FINALLY!!!!!)

For about 5 days, we spent our time in Disneyland. We arrived kinda late, but we went to Epcot and saw the really cool fireworks at 9pm. It was soooo cool! XD A lot of Plant sculptur-thingies too. Kinda cool. Till my mom and our neighbor Liz (who graciously shared a condo with us and her husband and daughter) started skipping down the streets to the seven dwarf's "Hi-Ho Hi-Ho it's off to work we goooo" Scared the shit outta me.... -shivers-

Then, we went to MGM Studios and the Tower of Terror was fun. We went to the gift shop and I was able to get "Tim Burton's: The Nightmare Before Christmas" special edition. It had Tim's earlier films: "Frankenweenie" and "Vincent". I also bought a Goofy Hat that I am attached to and resigned to -though it's not punishment to me- wear it while I wash dad's car.

We headed back to Epcot the next day to see the rest of the park. Went on a couple of cool rides.

Then, we headed to Animal Kingdom. Gods... it was HOT that day. I even wore the Goofy Hat and it was burning out there; we got Fastpass tickets for a water rapid ride though and got soaked in the fountains, so it was okay. I saw am-nin-als(animals)! Weeeee! XD

Then, finally we headed to Typhoon Lagoon, the water park. It was kinda cloudy at first, and we ended up under a palm tree next to an old couple from England. (THEY WE ALL OVER THE PLACE! IT WAS SOOO COOL! I EVEN MET ONE WHO HAD READ MY FICS!)

We stayed in the wave pool, did a lot of slides, and then it was lunchtime. Funny thing is, while we were ordering, this one British woman came up and said: "Excuse me, but you forgot to give me some milk for my tea." The guy at the counter just kinda stared at her like: "Lady, you expect me to give you free milk?" He gave it to her anyways, but I though it was kinda funny. It rained again, and everything got SOAKED, so we decided to head back to the condo.

We packed up that night and in the morning, we headed off for home. I spent most of my time in the car listening to "Bowling for soup" (THANK YOU LACIE) while playing Crash Bandicoot on the gameboy SP, and after that, watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas" so many times, I practically memorized it. (I had it memorized when I was little, but now I know it all over again)

Spent the night at the hotel, and then slept the rest of the way home the next day. -takes a breath and then sighes-

And that was my very, very, very, I-don't-plan-on-leaving-again-anytime-soon trip.
